Lodhi Gardens came into existence with the creation of The Tomb of Mohammed Shah, the last of Sayyid Shah Rulers in 1444. Later the tomb of Ibrahim Lodhi was constructed here. The Gardens were re-laid many times during the rules of Mughal, British and Independent India.
